Yashodharman of Malwa

Yashodharman of Malwa

Yashodharman of Malwa ruled a large empire traversing North, East, West and Central India from 515-545 AD, a long reign. He can be called a universal monarch or a Chakravartin. He defeated the Hun King Mihirakula in the battle of Sondani and threw the Huns out of India. There is a historical victory pillar dedicated to this in Mandsaur. The famous battle happened in 528 AD, again a victory for Indian forces over the Huns, a people who were the scourge of Europe.

📜Battles for Delhi: Dilli Kareeb AST is a must-read for every Indian who wants to understand the price of freedom. The storytelling format makes it fascinating and engaging at the same time.
